About Us

Norman Schall & Associates is an established court reporting agency serving the Southern California community since its inception in 1949. Our agency was founded by Norman Schall, a pioneer in the court reporting profession. He learned his trade during World War II where he served under General George Patton. At that time, shorthand reporting was a unique skill performed by hand. Times have changed and today the profession has become highly sophisticated, demanding of its practitioners' compliance to a strict code of ethics, knowledge of legal procedures and a highly technical skillset. Today the reporter undertakes assignments equipped with advanced computer technology that allows Real Time capabilities for a quick turnaround.

We are a family-owned business with both principals of the company certified as court reporters. Our agency takes pride in providing its clients with the utmost professional reporting and litigation support service. Our goal is to always stay on top of technical changes, and to increase the number of quality services we can offer our clients in order to make their job easier and to meet your complete satisfaction.
